Privacy Policy
What we collect, why we collect it, and what you can ask us to do with it.
This policy explains what Oral Health Caring LLC collects when you use oralhealthcaring.com, why we collect it, how long we hold it and what you can ask us to do with it.
1. Who is responsible for your data
Oral Health Caring LLC, 101 W Broadway, Suite 1120, San Diego, CA 92101, USA, is the controller of the personal information described here. Contact us at contact@oralhealthcaring.com or +1-619-555-1234.
2. What we collect
Information you give us
- Order details — your name, delivery address, email address and phone number, so we can pack, ship and confirm your order.
- Correspondence — the content of emails, voicemails and support messages you send us.
Information collected automatically
- Technical data — IP address, browser type, device type, referring page and the pages you view, used to keep the site working and secure.
- Local storage on your device — the contents of your shopping cart are saved in your own browser so the cart survives a page reload. That data stays on your device; nothing is transmitted to us until you place an order.
3. Payment information
Card details entered on our checkout page are used solely to authorise your payment and are handled over an encrypted connection. We do not write card numbers, expiry dates or security codes into your browser’s storage, and we do not retain them after the transaction. Our own records show only the last four digits and the payment reference — enough to identify a transaction if you need a refund.
4. Why we use your information
- To take, pack, dispatch and track your order.
- To send transactional messages: order confirmations, shipping notices and refund confirmations.
- To answer your questions and resolve problems with an order.
- To meet our tax, accounting and consumer-law obligations.
- To detect and prevent fraudulent orders.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not rent or trade our customer list.
5. Marketing email
We only send marketing email to people who have asked for it. Every such message carries an unsubscribe link that works immediately. Transactional messages about an order you actually placed are not marketing and are sent regardless.
6. Who we share information with
We share only what is necessary, and only with organisations that process data on our instructions: our fulfilment and warehousing partner, the carrier that delivers your parcel, our payment processor, our email delivery provider and our accountants. We may also disclose information where a court order or applicable law requires it.
7. How long we keep it
Order records are held for seven years to satisfy US tax and accounting requirements. Support correspondence is kept for two years. Marketing subscriptions are held until you unsubscribe. Technical logs are rotated within ninety days.
8. Your rights
You can ask us to show you the personal information we hold about you, correct anything inaccurate, delete information we no longer need to keep, or stop sending you marketing. California residents have specific rights under the CCPA, including the right to know what has been collected and the right to request deletion; we do not sell personal information as that term is defined in the CCPA. Email us and we will respond within thirty days. We will never treat you differently for exercising a privacy right.
9. Cookies and similar technologies
We use a small number of strictly necessary cookies and browser storage entries to keep your cart intact and the site secure. We do not run third-party advertising trackers on this website. Your browser settings let you block or clear this storage, though doing so will empty your cart.
10. Security
Traffic to and from this site is encrypted in transit. Access to order records is limited to the staff who need it to do their job. No system is perfectly secure, but we take these obligations seriously and will notify affected customers promptly if a breach ever puts their data at risk.
11. Children
This website is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has given us their details, contact us and we will delete the record.
12. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we will update the review date below. Material changes will also be announced on this page.
